In 1956 the Birkenhof was officially recognized as a forest tavern and run as a family business for the first time. Restaurant Birkenhof Nettetal has been in new hands since 2009 and has been lovingly renovated, expanded and rebuilt piece by piece. In addition to our culinary highlights, we offer the right thing for every taste and occasion. Over several halls for events and weddings, spacious terraces, winter garden, fireplace room and children's playground, a large covered and heated pergola will be added in 2021 for your maximum comfort. So you can even enjoy autumn & winter outdoors with us with great offers and events.

We would like to expand our event area further and therefore surprise again and again with exciting events in cooperation with local, national and international artists & companies.

What do you think of a romantic carriage ride in the snow through the Nettetal lake landscape, followed by a cozy arrangement on our heated pergola? Also for the physical well-being & sparkling wine or champagne for the trip is taken care of.
